In covering female weight loss and why you can’t get rid of cellulite, I’d like to explore real fat loss truths and why you are constantly comparing yourself to a lie and what to do about it.
In this blog post I’d like to cater for my female audience via a combination of common questions, myth busting and facts.
I’d like to plea to every female out there – stop this madness!
Smoke, mirrors and why you can’t get rid of cellulite
In today’s modern world of instant gratification and smoke and mirrors, it’s easier than ever to be drawn into a climate that profits on keeping you confused, disillusioned and inclined to prematurely give up your diet and exercise journey. Only once you’ve parted with some cash, of course. The system then relies on you rinsing and repeating.
The female form is an incredible work of art. This is true whether you’re at your goal body weight or have many lbs/kilos to lose. You can’t get rid of cellulite nor should you want to! Speaking as a man, if I had to go through the monthly hormonal disruptions, child birth process and general challenges women of all ages encounter, I’d not last very long.
The first revelation you need to take to understand is that life isn’t too dissimilar to what Morpheus once told Neo, “You’re were born a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste, see or touch. A prison for your mind”.
Today’s world leaves a bad taste in my mouth
The above photo and statement all seems a tad dramatic doesn’t it? Well, hear me out a little. I believe the 90’s was our pinnacle as a species. Just enough technology for comfort and to keep in touch with loved ones via a landline, but our lives were still dominated by in-person social interaction and a grounded sense of knowing someone, warts and all.
Here’s a sneak reveal regarding why you can’t get rid of cellulite. It’s a made up problematic condition. It’s the equivalent of me making up a fabricated problem of men having arm pit hair. Does the above still seem too far fetched?
Are you jealous of a lie?
Today’s technology has created a false and virtual world. You’re now comparing yourself and your aspirations to the unobtainable. How many times have you looked at someone else’s life on social media and wondered how they got the funds to afford that? How is your friend from school 20 years ago always blissfully happy? Why can’t your house look that tidy? Why does she have it all together? Why don’t I have that car? She’s thinner than me, My holiday was worse than hers. The list is endless.
You’re viewing a world with extreme limits. Those limits are placed upon you by the poster. You’re not going to see the eye watering credit card debt, their children’s tantrums, the husband engaging in the affair, the tears and the general life difficulties experienced by all of us. You’re watching fabricated highlights of someone else’s life. I will ask again, does The Matrix Movie now seem a million miles away? Why should there be much variance when it comes to diet and exercise?
● How many times have you googled how do I get a celebrity body?
● How often are you looking on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube etc for weight loss, diet and exercise tips?
● How often do you watch famous influencers and follow them for weight loss tips, because you want to look exactly like them and follow their incorrect advice to a tee?
● How many different radical diet and exercise programs have you followed over the years?
● How to get rid of cellulite?
● The best female weight loss course?
● How many various weird and wonderful exercise contraptions/supplements have you purchased over the years? Do you still use them? Little do you know you can get in exceptional shape with nothing but you’re body and space-
● Perhaps the most important consideration of them all…. If you’ve had access to many social media influencers for years, why are you still interested in female weight loss? The answer is over complication of a simple subject.
Be wary of female weight loss smoke and mirrors
The above photo is well worthy of a click into link and read. The lies, deception and lengths people will go to fool you is astounding. Why are they participating in this behaviour? Many fortunes have been spent on reaching for the impossible.
Before I continue, I’m not tarring all celebrities and influencers with the same brush. There are some great people out there who can also advise on female weight loss. It’s becoming increasingly hard to differentiate between the good, bad and downright morally ugly. You must learn discernment. If something appears too good to be true, it usually is. It’s as relevant of a saying today as it was in years gone by, perhaps even more so.
● Most famous influencers develop a following because people aspire to look like them. You can’t, this person has different genetics to you. Remember those people you went to school/previously worked with? The type of people who were drop dead gorgeous with little effort and could eat anything and get away with it? They seemed to be genetically gifted with very little weight gain and would achieve weight loss by cutting out a meal just the once. The chances are you’re following an extreme example, a person who’s already climbed to the top of the tree against other genetically gifted people and won out.
● Too much weight loss will often result in a woman’s period ceasing. Why? Your body doesn’t want to reproduce when you’re starving it to death for views. You don’t hear too much about this, do you?
● Photoshop. It’s everywhere and the ultimate deceit. I retract my previous statement answering why you can’t get rid of cellulite. You can…. via photo!
● Illegal and damaging fat loss drugs are rampant in the industry. It’s more than tempting when your entire livelihood and fame depends on you looking a certain way.
● Anorexia and bulllemia are far more common than you think. Again, you’re being shown heavily filtered versions of an individual you don’t even know.
● These people often obsess about every little morsel of food being taken in. Social events will often be avoided. That famous TikToker who happily shows you their love for pizza. It’s rare to see them indulge in more than one bite on a reel.
● I can guarantee you this, the magical supplement being sold to you is not the reason for a certain look. You’re lining bank accounts whilst your insecurities and quick fix human instincts are being prayed upon.
Before you start reading the meat of the article below, I want you to digest the very truth that we’ve been fed a fabricated version of reality for so long, it’s hard to ascertain truth. You’ve been fed a false cocktail of fake perfection and unachievable dreams, all to make money from innocence and naivety.
I have a 6 year old daughter who I love dearly. I’m genuinely worried about her future and hope humanity turns a corner. I don’t want her or any woman on this planet to continue measuring themselves against the impossible, when women are already impossibly incredible.
I’m all for a fitter and healthier body (female weight loss if unhealthy levels of fat is great), but not at the expense of an unobtainable form which no longer resembles a human female. At an appropriate age, my daughter will know she can never get rid of cellulite (and be proud) and the difference between too much weight loss and being healthy.
With that said, I hope the below enlightens you regarding just how easy this diet, female weight loss and exercise game really is. You don’t need to spend a penny for powerful results.
Unfortunately my message isn’t sexy and doesn’t generate profit, but it’s authentic, sincere and true. Here we go:
What is the best method of female weight loss?
Let’s get the question right. What is the best way to lose body fat? I’m assuming you don’t want to lose weight from your brain, muscles or vital organs? Didn’t think so, so we will stick to losing body fat and not lose weight. The answer is rather simple.
Overtime, you’ve saved up energy within your body. This energy has been taken in, unspent and manifested its self as excess body fat. To lose the fat, you must pay that energy balance back over a period of consistency and create an energy/calorie deficit.
There is no alternative way to lose body fat.
The optimal way to lose fat (there are more than one way to skin a cat) is to find the most enjoyable.. or should I say tolerable way to ensure you adhere to achieving this. No exercise regime or supplement on this planet will put you into fat loss mode, unless you’re burning more energy than you consume.
Can I spot reduce areas of fat?
No. Run for the hills if you’re ever told otherwise. Men and women individually vary when it comes to fat loss. Your body will have a tendency to store it in certain places rather than others, and where your body loses fat from first cannot be manipulated by you. It’s as impossible being able to touch the sun. You simply cannot target certain area fat loss and manipulate the body to lose fat from a chosen area. Don’t fall for this one.
What Exercise burns belly fat?
No exercise burns belly fat. Exercise strengthens muscles behind the belly (If the stomach muscles are worked). Those endless ab exercises won’t do anything towards body fat loss. Or any other magical gadget/supplement that claims to do so. If you’ve lost belly fat from sit ups, you were always going to do so from that area first. The sit ups are irrelevant.
Will lifting weights make me bulky?
No. There will be an extremely small % of women with the genetic make up to gain muscle and strength very easily. The chances are around 99.99% that’s not going to be you, or you’d already know about it and be inclined to have used that ability already.
Women simply don’t have the testosterone (primary muscle building hormone) levels to gain a significant amount of muscle. It’s another case of steroids being rampant within the ladies fitness community to make up for this hormonal deficit. Women who lift weights/strength train will develop shapely and toned muscles.
Men have roughly seven times more testosterone than women. Trust me, there there are many men out there that struggle to grow their muscles quick enough/if at all. You certainly don’t need to preoccupy yourself with this. Shapely and toned (more on tone below) muscles are created with a combination of strength training and a fat loss diet. Worry not about the subject of weights making me bulky.
Is cardio or weights better for weight loss
Again, it’s fat loss. the correct answer is neither is more effective. The only action which will trigger fat loss is a calorie deficit and prioritising protein for muscle preservation. Strength training develops muscles, aerobic training increases endurance and stretching increases flexibility etc.
Exercise should not be used for fat loss.
Exercise for health benefits and a more shapely physique. Again, fat loss shouldn’t be a major exercise goal. To highlight this, an hour of cardio on average will burn around 3-400 calories. Here’s the head scratcher. If you lay down for an hour, your body will still have used around 100 of those calories to keep you alive. Your additional exercise has barely burned off a small size chocolate bar. Again, don’t exercise with the purpose of fat loss gains. You haven’t earned that treat. You don’t need to earn treats, you can factor them into your diet 🙂
What’s the best female weight loss diet?
Nothing confuses people more than attempting to find the perfect diet to aid fat loss. Do you go Keto? Is paleo the answer? Weight watchers for sure? Slimming World? How about the carnivore diet? The vegan Diet? The answers quite boringly simple. They’re all the best diets to lose fat and yet simultaneously the worse. Eh? well putting it simply, your friend may have had tremendous results with the latest Keto diet. Your other friend did well on the carnivore diet. You’re a vegan…. how far is that diet going to take you?
You can badge a diet up anyway you choose, it all boils down to consuming less energy than you burn. Whatever diet allows you to maintain a higher chance of adherence, will be the best diet for you.
How do I get rid of cellulite?
In April 1968, Vogue became the first English-language periodical to print the term “cellulite,” engendering both a new word and a fashionable new way for women to hate their bodies and pay for rectification of a non defected product!
You can’t get rid of cellulite.
If you’re told otherwise, you’re being grossly lied to and your purse is about to be emptied. You can reduce the appearance of cellulite with a combination of exercise and diet.
Do you know what cellulite is? As fat cells increase, they push up against the skin. Tough long connective cords pull down. this creates an uneven surface or dimpling. Did you know that 80-90% of women who’ve been through puberty have cellulite? How can you completely get rid of cellulite? Be part of the genetic 10% minority.
Again, this is another perfectly normal condition that’s tragically made women ashamed and looking for a false solution for a problem that never existed. Cellulite is perfectly normal and you bet that many celebrities and influencers own the condition too.
My wife has been robbed blind by companies selling coffee scrubs claiming to get rid of cellulite. She’d have been better off adding it to hot water and drinking it. At least it wouldn’t have been a complete waste. Diet, exercise and be the best version of you (just not an unrealistic and impossible version). Speaking for the male species, cellulite doesn’t bother us in the slightest and if you have it, welcome to being part of the 90% club.
Does fasting work and should I do it?
Depending on where you’re getting your information from, fasting is either the holy grail of diets, or it’s going to kill you yesterday. If you’ve read my ‘who am I’ article, fasting has been a major part of my life for the last ten years plus. It allows me to remain greedy and indulge in large meals, just less frequently.
Without a humans ability to fast we would have died out thousand of years ago. Lets simplify. The fat on your body, why is it there? It’s there as food in the event of a famine, readily accessible calories. If fasting allows you to adhere to an overall energy deficit over time, then fast. If it doesn’t then don’t. There is nothing magical to fasting from a fat loss perspective. There’s also nothing wrong with fasting.
What meal frequency is best?
Meal frequency importance has been scientifically debunked many times over. Eat at a frequency that allows you to maintain a calorie deficit. My fat loss plan pasted below has some great tools for you to pull out of the locker, depending on the situation at hand. Your chosen meal frequency doesn’t have to be fixed.
Should I do a diet cleanse?
Short and sweet answer – no. Your body has a built in cleanser, it’s called a liver. Buy into this ridiculous notion if you want to ‘cleanse’ your purse of money. A diet cleanse is up there with top tier ridiculousness.
Do I need to take supplements?
No. The meaning of ‘to supplement’ has been lost upon us. Supplements are, well supplements. For fat loss and exercise gains you do not need to spend a dime. Some supplements are beneficial (e.g protein powder to hit protein goals, creatine for strength gains and a multi vitamin as an insurance policy) but certainly not required. Supplements are huge business and prey upon lack of knowledge. Trust me, you don’t need them. Any perceived supplement success will be responsible for a minuscule proportion of your actual results, if any.
Can I lose weight without exercise?
Absolutely. I’m a big fan of exercise and think strength training has too many health benefits to ignore (not just body shape). But to lose fat, you don’t need to exercise.
I’m having trouble reaching my goals
You’re probably over complicating them, made them unrealistic and not simplified them. See my ten week fat loss plan for more information and other blog posts.
What should I eat before and after a workout?
The energy you utilise during exercise is already be stored from a meal yesterday. If you want to workout fasted (allowing for an adaptation period of mentally getting used to it) you can do so. If you’d prefer a meal before exercise, then eat what you like prior to working out. Common sense of ensuring you’re not too full allowing etc. I workout fasted, not for any chasing rainbow fabricated benefits, but because I prefer it. Now and again I workout fed. I see no difference in exercise performance and neither will you.
What is the best workout routine?
This is very much a similar answer to the ‘what’s the best diet’ question. The best workout is one you can stick too, enjoy and allows you to work harder than you did last time and beat yesterday. If you subscribe to my website, I intend to post very regularly and ensure that some great strength training and cardio articles are written soon/may be up at the time of writing this. The best workout combination will cover a combination of strength training, cardio and flexibility for a complete stack.
What are the best foods for weight loss?
Too much of any food will cause you to gain weight. Equally you can lose fat eating McDonalds every day. I wouldn’t recommend this as your satiety levels will be so low that you may end up over eating. I can personally demolish 2 large Big Mac meals, burp and be hungry again two hours later. That’s 2000 calories.
There are no best foods for weight loss, but there are choices you can make that allows you to perceivable eat more. Food volume is coincidentally high in fruit and vegetables and protein is the most filling macronutrient. In addition to its critical health benefits it’s another reason I ask you to prioritise it within my fat loss plan.

How do I get a body like my favourite celebrity?
Short of becoming them, you can’t. They are genetically different to you. They’ll have different muscle insertions and even at the same level of body fat and muscle, you’ll likely look vastly different. Please change this question (whilst looking in the mirror) to, ” How do I get the best body for me?” You can’t change the deck you were dealt, but you can maximise the hand. You don’t achieve this by perpetually trying to change the deck.
How do I look good naked?
I bet you already do. If you mean, “How do I make this body fitter and healthier?” A calorie deficit/prioritising protein, strength training and moving more”. It’s that simple. Rinse and repeat day in and day out.
I want to get toned but not muscular
Another smoking mirror I’m afraid. When it’s trained, a muscle gets bigger and stronger or it doesn’t. What creates a toned look is loss of body fat combined with a a good strength training workout. Rep amount doesn’t matter one bit.
as I’ve mentioned above, being toned but not muscular is having well developed and defined muscles, you simply don’t have the testosterone for significant muscle. Don’t be fooled by the many celebrities on steroids and fat loss drugs (yep even women take them).
Conclusion
That about wraps up this article. I hope this has a been enlightening insight into female weight loss and why you can’t get rid of cellulite.
