I'm Matt - a 42 - year - old husband of a decade. I have two sons aged 18 and 11 and a spirited 6-year-old girl. By day, I navigate the fast-paced world of finance, as a Head of department, but come evening, I'm diving headfirst into the realm of fitness blogging. I’m also about to quality as a personal trainer, which is rather exciting.
Though fitness has never been my sole focus, it's remained a steadfast pillar throughout my life. I picked up my first barbell at 14, and with nearly three decades of experience in exercise and nutrition under my belt, it's safe to say I've explored this passion extensively. Whether dedicating countless hours or finding the bare minimum to maintain, fitness has been my constant companion.
My aim? To predominantly teach you that your journey to health, fitness, fat loss and muscle building is only just starting.
I find the fitness industry and modern day social media a swarm of people looking to complicate what should be a simple concept - Everyone should be taught how to gain muscle, lose fat, the best fitness tips, dietry advice and have access to easily digestible general health and lifestyle information. There's so much choice out there and conflicting information. Integrity is important to me and I want you to gain value from this site and ultimately transform it into a comminuty.
Whether you're into fat loss, home workouts, looking to stay fit whilst busy, testosterone optimisation, muscle building, female diet and fat loss, the great outdoors, nerding out now and again and much more - I hope my website and posts will appeal to all ages, genders and experience levels.
Based in South Wales, UK, I find solace in strength training, embarking on scenic hikes, and occasionally pushing my limits in endurance events for charitable causes.
While health subjects, diet, strength workouts, fitness tips and articles will undoubtedly take center stage here, my diverse interests ensure a variety of content. From dissecting the latest celebrity body craze to indulging in fitness nostalgia from the '80s, '90s, and '00s, exploring the latest fitness gadgets, or sharing recommendations for a good read—there's something for everyone.
Stay tuned, as I'm sure my passions will evolve and expand over time. But for now, let's consider this a solid foundation to build upon.

1) To get you into fantastic shape and ensuring you digest that it's not as complicated or difficult as you've been lead to believe.
Regardless of how hectic your schedule may be, I aim to demonstrate that achieving your fitness, weight or health goals is more straightforward than you've been led to believe. You should have access to real and easily digestible health, fitness tips, strength workouts and fat loss information - being in fantastic shape is yours to obtain, no matter how busy you are, what your age or experience levels.
2) To thoroughly cover a wide variety of health and fitness topics, in an easily digestible manner. My primary goal is adding value to you.
I'm passionate about people, being as healthy as possible and teaching you that muscle building and fat loss is not really all that complicated regardless of your age, starting point and gender. I aim to grow my articles and eventually categorise them, so regardless of where you are in life or what your goals are, you'll find value in something on here.
Your engagement, feedback, and the value you find in my content is all I could hope for.
